I have gotten hooked on digital planning. Creating a digital planner is therapeutic for me. Decorating and actually writing in it though are two different things. HAHA. While searching for layout ideas, I came across a 20 for 2020 layout.The layout ideas range from doing 20 reps of an exercise to trying 20 new recipes to 20 goals for 2020. This month I have been thinking about by daughter attending college and my house being kid free and what that means for me. I had been thinking that this year is a year to redefine who I am as a person not just as a mom. My 20 for 2020 are all about things that relax me that I can do for myself. Twenty things for just ME.

It's funny when I sat down and thought about what makes me happy or that relaxes me, I had a hard time. I was doing great making my list until I got to about number 13. Then I had to concentrate and really brainstorm the remaining 7 ideas. It's much tougher than I thought it would be to come up with 20 ideas that are just for me. Some of the things on my list are more reminders than something special. Reminders to not get caught up in work or wondering what K is doing that I just sit around waiting. I need to start taking care of me. 

My 20 for 2020

  • Spend a day reading for fun
  • Soak my toes in the ocean
  • Get a massage
  • Take a bubble bath
  • Go for a walk in the woods
  • Sit and watch the birds
  • Relax on a beach
  • Color a picture
  • Gardening- weeding flowers
  • Watching the bees and butterflies

  • Take a nap in the sun
  • Relax beside a bonfire 
  • Listen to a thunderstorm
  • Sit and listen to the ocean waves crashing
  • Create a habit of meditating each morning
  • Get a manicure and pedicure
  • Go to the movie theater to watch a movie
  • Create a habit to go to the gym everyday
  • Visit a botanical garden
  • Visit the Wild Walk
